DJIM Trader Alerts to 2011

Up to the minute alerts of the stocks DJIM traders are closely watching for a trade, a heads up of sorts. This section is mostly for the trader during market hours and those who are familiar with the DJIM trading methodology.  In an effort to get information to you quickly, these alerts may only contain a few words, maybe only a symbol of the stock. It is best you keep up to date on the activities in Trader Journal as most plays originate from that page.  Please remember Alerts are not a license to buy, watch for volume, market conditions and other indicators

Latest eurozone eruption is surprising considering this German bit must've floated around their markets and it still closed up 1.5%. First saw it here was just after their close and SPX was ~1135. Silly and probably another excuse to bounce this week.

SPRD, nice EPS/GUID from <20mln float last night.

Also, looking at DV as a trade today off late news yesterday for education stocks.

All rosy so far in Euozone today, Banks up, CDS spreads tighter etc. Also oil, copper rebounding.

Keep petering out 1170-1175 w/o new buyers coming in for 3rd day now. Doesn't happen soon, some may have enough of it. Still, some excellent action in software (M&A SAP-SY) to holding things together & some Euro countries on bank holiday's , (even though trading still on) may mute things.

Wait and See stuff consists of things like this mkt will want to see in days ahead..

Portugal positives today : 1) bought back ~EU225MM in
bonds out of RU4.628B expiring next week in move to reassure investors; 2) country says
does need not to resort to the $1 trillon safety net agreed by the European Union and the IMF;
3) sold EU1B in bonds at higher bid/cover and higher yield; 4) Portugal’s opposition leader
agrees to back higher tax hikes.

Watching...Some opening bell interest in high end retailers, could be key to day if continues, it would show money flow coming into consumer disc, which would inc.the consumer/techs..nflx aapl. A confidence factor and possibly some conviction buying. Let's see if it materializes.

SPX 1147 is March '09 trendline, could penetrate and go 1142-1143 as 3rd day with no dip buyers in sight.
