DJIM Trader Alerts to 2011

Up to the minute alerts of the stocks DJIM traders are closely watching for a trade, a heads up of sorts. This section is mostly for the trader during market hours and those who are familiar with the DJIM trading methodology.  In an effort to get information to you quickly, these alerts may only contain a few words, maybe only a symbol of the stock. It is best you keep up to date on the activities in Trader Journal as most plays originate from that page.  Please remember Alerts are not a license to buy, watch for volume, market conditions and other indicators

added some MFW

WSJ article(yesterday) hints at more acquisitions. Hedgies might like the sound of that. Harland acquisition was what got us first in the mid 20's

The Wall Street Journal reports among the biggest fans of M&F Worldwide (MFW) are hedge funds, which own more than 30% of the co's shares, according to FactSet Research Systems. Others say the fact that few analysts cover M&F makes it an overlooked gem that could keep climbing as Wall Street catches on. "The stock is still cheap," argues Doug Teitelbaum, who runs Bay Harbour Management, a hedge fund that owns almost 7% of M&F's shares. "Over time, [Mr. Perelman and his partners] have made some great acquisitions." M&F is one of the cheapest valuations to free cash flow you can find," says Mr. Teitelbaum, who predicts M&F will generate $10 a share in free cash flow in 2008. Mr. Perelman declined to comment. His longtime associate, Howard Gittis, M&F's chairman and chief executive, said, "We certainly will use the excess cash flow to find other things that are interesting."
