DJIM Trader Alerts to 2011

Up to the minute alerts of the stocks DJIM traders are closely watching for a trade, a heads up of sorts. This section is mostly for the trader during market hours and those who are familiar with the DJIM trading methodology.  In an effort to get information to you quickly, these alerts may only contain a few words, maybe only a symbol of the stock. It is best you keep up to date on the activities in Trader Journal as most plays originate from that page.  Please remember Alerts are not a license to buy, watch for volume, market conditions and other indicators

update, at SPX 1052,

Once again support found at ~1048 (remain a cautious bull over this level). A hold above 1057, will be quiet the day. No real selling after Chi ISM, even if it might of looked by SPY/ES. Most of the stocks on our DJIMlist were holding ~1%-2% losses or green, beta-commods' included. That's why we were buying a few trades during slide.

Tomorrow's ISM should still be over 50. There is such a thing as a Milwaukee ISM and it was at 58 up 2, today. So the numbers are all over the place regionally and mkt might grasp.

CTRP has bounced nerly $2 since alert, here's a related stock idea off this below and UTA.

China’s Holiday Travel Boom May Help Consumption, Drive Growth. China’s celebration of 60 years of Communist Party rule and an eight-day holiday may trigger a tourism boom, boosting consumer spending and helping the economy recover from its slowest growth in almost a decade. More than 200 million people may travel as tourists during the holiday that starts tomorrow, up 13 percent from a year earlier, the China Tourism Academy

Also this stock isn't far from being $15 and IBD100 as it's a 99 stock (99, 98)

ISM# tomorrow, today is the Chi-town # at 10am as a possible prelude. If this falls <50, watch out as it's unfathomable to many of us in the 'recovery' camp. Very recent headwinds in US eco' data make this noteworthy to watch today.

Shippers, some comments out that may give these a push..GNK still fave

The Baltic Dry Index may surge more than 80 percent by the end of the year on
increased demand for shipments to China, according to Cosco. The gauge may
rebound to 4,000 points as local governments encourage factory output, especially of
steel, Kong Fanhua, a senior researcher at the company, said in an interview.

DFS, follow up, might be done consolidating post earnings, near recent highs. Many upgrades since alerted last week.

As long as Financials steady, it may move today.

DFS, 15.90, trading it off EPS, this report could be a game changer as consumer credit losses may have peaked a Q sooner than expected.
